Spirulina is considered one of the super foods. It has more protein that soya beans.I wanted to include it in my diet to increase my immune system. When I opened the packet, I could not bear the smell, nor was I able to taste it. Since I was not able to drink or eat it directly, I wanted to add it to my food so that I could hide its taste and smell. The directions mentioned a teaspoon for the smoothie, but I only added a pinch since I was not sure I will like its taste. I did not notice any difference in the taste or smell. I slowly increased the quantity to a half teaspoon to my smoothie. I also started adding it to my muffins and pancake recipe. They came out green, but they still remained tasty. I will continue using it. Compared to last year, I had less allergies and cold this time. Maybe it could be the Organic Spirulina that I had added to my diet.
